comparing sasha ramses and juno is actually so fun because they all have a different motive for the same thing: helping people so much it literally ruins them

Juno has constant guilt and this feeling that he needs to prove something he needs to do good. he needs to fix things and do good things because he's just a bad shitty no good guy. He's got this idea that everything's his fault and everythings about him so its his if he wins and his if he loses and he drags people down with it

Ramses has this idea that people cannot be trusted with their own lives. They need to be helped and fixed because they wont do it themselves. He believes they need to be steered right like children because they don't know what's best for themselves. A very controlling and idealized mindset where he's doing a good thing by taking people's free will because they can't be trusted with it

and Sasha doesn't believe that it's her fault or that people can't help themselves but instead she feels like this is just Her Job. She should do this because it's her job. Less "they CAN'T do it" and more "They shouldn't" because it's her job. and we see that a lot. I mean aside from her literally telling Juno it's her job instead of his. She feels like she needs to consider everyone and everything at once. Which is what leads to her wanting to stop all progress and get to the root of all these issues. Because that's overwhelming to look at an entire galaxy and think that you need to focus on every single outcome. She wants to do things one at a time, bit by bit, but with an entire galaxy, things will change and some progress will constantly be lost.

nobody gets tsukasa like i get tsukasa but one thing i dont get is if hes the mf beating hanako up. BC IT FEELS IMPLIED BUT ALSO??? weve never seen him move to hurt hanako. ever. he doesnt even defend himself whenever hanako grabs him, pushes him, STABS HIM??? like i cant see him doing that

and another thing i always considered was "maybe hanako i defending tsukasa" but tsukasa was actually very popular amongst his classmates, hanako says so.

so its clearly not that? but then what is going on?

one theory i have is that it has to do with their mother. we know she can tell something is wrong with tsukasa considering how she drags the poor boy to be exorcised multiple times. if she is potentially threatening/trying to harm tsukasa and hanako is protecting him, perhaps its that? idk gimme ur thoughts if u have any.

thinking abt how lumine is portrayed as more friendly and outgoing yet i see ppl characterize traveler lumine as more rude, grumpy, and introverted than aether a lot. and i just dont think thats right. not only does it go against what ive personally viewed in the canon of the story, but also bc its definitely rooted in misogyny

my proof btw (using specifically scenes from before they were seperated/where theyre together bc abyss lumi and traveler lumi are very different also its a better way to compare them)

aether relaxing while lumine is standing over him, like shes ready to keep going and is excited about it

playfully poking aethers face while he sleeps <3 very similar to the last one

i dont have the other ss rn but aether sitting in the water kind of implies she playfully pushed him down and shes throwing water at him shes so silly :(

both these scenes (which are the same for abyss and traveler lumi btw) where shes excitedly showing these things to aether and he nods in acknowledgement

jehtlumi also, while mostly being queercoding for jeht (shoutout to jeht ily jeht) where she refers to aether as a friend, and lumine as more than a friend. while again this is very clearly coding for jeht, it says a lot that lumine was able to build that kind of connection with her so quickly.
